Joan Gerhardt, District Manager
Joan joined the Romanow Building Services staff in 1989 as
a janitor and was soon promoted to Human Resource Specialist. In our Human
Resource Department, Joan's duties included interviewing and screening potential
employees, reference checking, testing and hiring. She was promoted again in
1990 to Supervisor, and was assigned to oversee the cleaning of a large school
district. Soon thereafter, Joan earned certification as a Registered Building
Service Manager by the Building Services Contractor Association International.
In 1995, Joan was promoted to her current position of District Manager, and is
responsible for supervising approximately 90 employees and the day-to-day
operations of two large accounts.
